As a person who grew up with a hairstylist as a mom I think hair was always a huge part of my identity. I would go almost every months with a new cut and color not only because it was so convenient but also because I was one of the few kids who had the opportunity to express themselves through their hair. So yes hair is very important, to me at least, because I feel like it gives me the opportunity to express myself which makes me feel good. I feel like it also is very important because it’s a feature that’s hard to miss when you look at someone, so I always feel that I look better when my hair looks good.
